Stichting Smoke and Mirrors is dedicated to non-fiction cinema by multidisciplinary creators. We develop author-driven projects that are formally distinctive and deeply rooted in each maker’s unique background. By doing so, we seek to elevate new voices in non-fiction film and contribute meaningfully to the artists’ respective fields.
Particular emphasis is placed on reflecting around each project’s intended impact and actively connect makers with funding bodies, cinemas, festivals, and exhibition platforms to maximize their reach and potential.
Smoke and Mirrors is a foundation and follows the Code Cutural Governance, the Fair Practice Code and the Code Diversity and Inclusion.
